Maya Style Hacha Head Sculpture Bust Figurine Reconstituted Stone 15 38 cm
Has some dust and debris collected in the recesses. A few small scrapes or loss to surface - shown in photos. Stunning large and heavy statue. In the Maya style of ancient times. I believe this is a modern reproduction. Possibly bought on a tourist trip. In stone with possibly a resin additive.
Heavily textured, with variegated colour. On a polished wood plinth. The statue turns on the plinth.
Unmarked so no hint of age or makers name. This is a striking display item. Weighs in excess of 2kg. Size and condition are shown clearly in the photos.
