Austin Productions created some very memorable pieces. And a Fine collection of Native American Jewelry. Both in reproductions of historical art and in original pieces Austin Productions or Austin Sculptures earned a serious name in decorating. Since the 1950's they were the goto company for upper class sculptures. Since they closed their doors in 2009 many of their older pieces have become quite collectable. This piece is a real classic, a Buddha head on a stand, the head itself is roughly 10 inches by 6 inches, on the stand it is 13 inches tall. I should note the scar visible above the right eye is deliberate, and is on all of this casting, as it was on the original historical piece it was modeled after.
